In response to Covid-19, Alice has devloped her online teaching, both in masterclass form and providing bespoke one-to-one lessons and courses.
She teaches one-to-one lessons either in person or online, and is on the Faculty of Musical Orbit.

Alice was one of the last students of the legendary Russian conducting pedagogue Ilya Musin from 1997-1999 and continued her studies Leonid Korchmar until 2000.
'Alice Farnham just made a triumphant debut at the Mariinsky Theatre (2013). I can say that Alice Farnham is an excellent exemplar of this great (Musin) school of conducting. She conducts in a manner that is fluid, clear, expressive, encouraging the orchestra to sing. It is conducting that moves beyond simple rhytmnic organisation and actually guides and shapes the sound of the orchestra'. Leonid Korchmar - Professor, St. Petseburg Conservatoire & Conductor, Mariinsky Theatre
